Really Wildlife is a wildlife travel blog, dedicated to helping you to find the best and most sustainable wildlife adventures across the world.

At Really Wildlife, we are committed to being:

  • Sustainable – we do not believe in any tourism or activities that are unethical to the animal. Experiences should focus on observing wildlife in their natural habitat, rather than in zoos or encounters that allow people to touch or hold wild animals.
  • Friendly – we understand that people don’t always understand the best way to interact with wildlife, so we want to make it easy for them to do the right thing. But we talk to them like a friend – we don’t tell off or chastise, we advise like a friend would.
  • Adventurous – we like to help people go outside of their comfort zone by encouraging them to try new destinations they might not have thought about. Instead of returning to the same hotel each year, we might encourage people to try a new eco lodge in the heart of a South American jungle or try a brand new destination to see what else they can find.

About Me

Anna from Really Wildlife - girl on safari with binoculars

Really Wildlife was founded by me, Anna, a wildlife travel obsessed photographer and writer from the UK. I’ve travelled to over 40 countries, but nothing makes me happier than seeing animals in their natural habitat.

Ever since my first trip to Africa, I have dreamt of creating an online space to share top tips, advice and inspiration for other wildlife lovers to explore the world in a sustainable and ethical way.

Whether you’re busy planning your first safari, or looking for inspiration on where to head next, you’ll find it all here.
